Why likeness shifts across cuts
Under our service terms, likeness, clothing, movement, framing, and background can change during generation, and no specific visual outcome is guaranteed. In one Reddit discussion on character-swap videos, a creator reported missed shots across multiple cuts when trying to keep both characters replaced throughout a clip. While that post reflects one user's question rather than a diagnosed cause or general failure rate, visible drift can happen in completed tasks.
What to check before sharing your clip
Following the creation workflow, inspect every completed MP4 across these moments for each selected role:
- Opening frames: Confirm the dancer, seated spectator, or both roles match your selection from the start.
- Camera cuts: Watch each transition to see whether a face shifts or the original character returns after an angle change.
- Motion and occlusions: Check moments where rapid tiptoe movement, head turns, or shadows partially cover the face.
- Ending and audio: Verify that each role holds through the final frame and the soundtrack plays cleanly.
Trying a clearer photo and credit rules
You can try a new upload using a clear, evenly lit photo of one consenting adult with visible face and hair and no heavy filters—see our photo requirements. If you choose Both, upload two photos in order—dancer first, spectator second—and verify the previews. A clearer photo is an attempt rather than a proven cure, and buying more credits does not upgrade quality. Because creative dissatisfaction differs from a technical failure, a completed video with weak likeness does not automatically qualify for failed generation credit returns.
