Importing your MP4 and adjusting the audio mix
After your 6-second or 13-second clip completes generation, output checks, and soundtrack processing in the creation workflow, open My videos to save the finished MP4 to your device, or see our download help.
New completed downloads already include the meme soundtrack. If your file plays without audio before upload, review our guide on troubleshooting missing sound. When editing inside Shorts, follow YouTube's Shorts audio controls to keep tracks from clashing:
- Keep the built-in MP4 soundtrack as-is if you do not need to attach a separate catalog track.
- If you tap Add sound or Sound to select audio from YouTube's library, open Volume and lower or mute the original video track so the two recordings do not overlap.
Reviewing your scene and disclosure settings
Play the full preview before publishing your Short. Inspect the faces, both roles if you replaced the dancer and the seated spectator, the camera cuts, the ending, the framing, and the audio sync. If a cut looks off or a face shifts unexpectedly, catch it in preview rather than after upload.
Before posting, review our guide on how to label your Rumpelstiltskin AI video for AI disclosure steps.
Music licensing and Content ID considerations
Uploading a completed clip does not guarantee views, channel monetization, or immunity from copyright claims. Under our terms of service, purchasing credits pays for video generation and does not grant a separate commercial music license or platform endorsement.
Music already embedded in an MP4 can receive a Content ID claim or removal notice. Using YouTube's audio library has separate terms.
