How length affects your credit budget
Every generation task uses a fixed credit rate across Dancer, Spectator, and Both modes: 6 seconds costs 10 credits and 13 seconds costs 20 credits. Because the 13-second clip uses twice as many credits as a 6-second clip, you can mix both durations within your balance. For example, a 60-credit pack on our credit pricing page can fund six 6-second clips, three 13-second clips, or a mix like two 13-second videos (40 credits) and two 6-second videos (20 credits).
Fixed output selection and editing limits
Duration is a fixed output setting chosen before you submit your task, and the soundtrack is added automatically after video generation finishes. The tool does not offer custom second sliders or an extension feature to lengthen a 6-second clip later. Choosing the 13-second option gives you more screen time in the straw room, but a longer duration is not a guarantee of better overall quality or more reliable likeness preservation. In addition, trimming a 13-second MP4 in an external editor after download does not reduce the 20-credit task cost.
Picking the best duration before submitting
Match your duration choice to your caption reading speed and how many photo tests you plan to run. If you are trying a new portrait for the first time, starting with a 6-second clip uses half the credits while you check how the face holds up across camera cuts. Confirm your preferred length alongside your vertical video framing before clicking generate, and follow our step-by-step guide on how to make a Rumpelstiltskin AI video to inspect the finished MP4 in My videos.
